Whoooooop HOLIDAYS!!!!

Struth, March came around quickly.... but that just means my holidays are here WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!. 4 weeks of... ahhhhh... dunno yet actually....

Hmmmmm let's see how things stand at this current moment in time?

Phone bill....!

Electricity bill....!

Potential Cyclone heading towards Brisbane....!

And on top of all of that, I gotta go to court tomorrow (Monday) to find out IF I get to keep my drivers licence or lose it for a month....!

Actually, a lot hinges on that.

IF I get to keep my licence, then I'll be heading straight to the bank and refinancing my loan, hopefully getting a few grand extra in the process and then I can use that to get a new car (Roxy, my old car was written off in the accident I'm going to court for). IF those cards fall into place - Court/Loan/Car.... THEN I'm hoping to take my three kids camping for a night or two. My two oldest have been out in the past, but the 8 yr old is a camping virgin. I discovered not long back that Scouting Australia has a few campsites around the place and even if you're not a member, you're still able to camp there. For a small fee of course.

But if my license gets suspended, well it's kind of a waste of time going for the loan extension right now. Not like I can test drive a new car if I've not got a license hey?

I guess we'll all see in the next 12 hours....

EDIT - Well THAT didn’t go totally as I’d hoped! Probably best that I don’t go into too much detail as NOW I gotta go to trial in a couple of months. All for just driving to work and having an accident. No drugs, no alchohol, no speeding, no mobile phone involved.... just losing control on a corner in the wet .

It’s that easy folks, and it could happen to you in a split second. 

BUT...... it also threw an unexpected spanner into the works. Instead of the ‘keep my liscence, get a loan for a new car/lose my liscence, not worry about a new car’ plan, I decided to take a gamble and go for the car loan/extension anyway....

Roll a day forward.... 

FUCK!!!! These holidays just keep getting more fucked over! 

Now the bank won’t approve my loan extrension either. It doesn’t matter that the interest rate’s the same as I’m already paying, as is the fortnightly amount. Noooooo.... It don’t matter that I’ve been working at the same place for the last 5 years! Or that my pay goes into my acount in the morning and the loan repayment automatically comes out that afternoon! 

Aaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!

At least on the positive side, my new Third Gear rear throw-over bag arrived. Just hope I get to use it sometime over my holidays. Might have to reorganise my bed-roll a bit, but if all goes to plan, I’ll be able to lose the big heavy backpack and just utilise a small Camelbak for incidentals.
